Rains 2nd Floor
The second floor houses the busy Computer Resource Center as well as ample study carrels, the comfortable William M. Hannon atrium, several study rooms and the library's primary law collection.

Federal Legal
This is our main federal legal collection, consisting of federal primary law and secondary sources.

This popular area of soft-furniture and skylights is made possible by a generous gift from the William H. Hannon Trust.
Computer Resource Center (Library Computer Lab)
The Library Computer Lab consists of four rooms and 83 computers. Forty-five computers have a 3.2 GHz clock speed and 512 Megabytes of RAM, while the other computers have a 1 GHz clock speed and 256 megabytes of RAM. The Library Computer Lab is open until 15 minutes before the library closes with staff on duty from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. You may contact the Library Computer Lab at (213) 736- 1426 or at crc.help@lls.edu . Computers may not be used by alumni or law students from other schools.

Library Computer Lab Help Desk
The Library Computer Lab Help Desk is regularly staffed. Typical tasks performed include providing account password assistance, installing Novell network software on laptops, configuring laptops to access the Internet, and providing software support for the Library Computer Lab computers. Staff is on duty from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. If no one is available at the help desk, ask for help in one of the staff offices in the Library Computer Lab. You may also contact the Library Computer Lab at (213) 736-1426 or at crc.help@lls.edu .

Cell Phone Zone
Cell phones may only be used in the following library locations: The second floor lobby of the Rains building, Library Computer Lab room 210 (not Library Computer Lab rooms 205, 212 or 214), and the elevator lobbies on the second and third floors of the Darling Pavilion. As cell phone usage is so disturbing to studying students, violators are subject to disciplinary action.
