Circulation Desk
Check out materials and ask directional questions here. Materials that are able to be checked out may be kept for two weeks. Current students, faculty and staff, and registered alumni may check out materials. Materials placed on reserve for specific courses (Course Reserves) are kept within the Circulation Desk area.
Reference Desk
Staffed from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday through Sunday, reference librarians will help you locate specific materials, develop a research strategy, and show you how to use specific resources.
Media Center
The Media Center houses our extensive collection of Microfiche and Microfilm and provides electronic access to government documents. There are also six media rooms available for viewing or listening to video and audio recordings. Two-hour reservations may be made for one of these rooms at the Circulation Desk.
Reference Room
The Reference Room, located in the room adjoining the Reference Desk, is where many popular referral materials are kept. The Shepard's sets are also kept in this room. These materials are noted on LUCY, the online catalog, with the location designation of REF.
Reserve Room
The Reserve Room, located just beyond the Circulation Desk area, is where many of our most used resources, such as the Nutshell series and hornbooks, are collected. These materials are noted on LUCY, the online catalog, with the location designation of RES, and they circulate for two hours.
