For off-campus access:

1. If a database is marked with as asterisk, you must call the reference desk, at 213-736-1177, to obtain the password.
2. Download the library toolbar (currently only supported by Windows XP/2000, Internet Explorer 6.0+, and Mozilla Firefox).  You will only be required to login once using your First Name Last Name, and 7-digit ID number, located on your ID card, in the barcode box.  After initial login you’ll be authenticated for off-campus access.
   Many more databases, indexes, and other research tools covering a wide variety of topics are available via LMU’s Von Der Ahe Library.  LMU databases are only accessible on-campus.

Law School faculty, students, and staff may also use LexisNexis and Westlaw. For more information, see Computer Lab.
