Computer Lab Printing Allocation
Printing Limits
Loyola Law School students are allocated 2,000 free pages per year for printing to the Library Computer Lab printers. The allocation is the same for both day and evening students. Once a year, on August 1, $160 is credited to each student's printing account. (At $0.08 per page that amount will allow printing of 2000 pages.) All print jobs on the student's network login are charged to this account. Pages which exceed the 2000 page allocation will cost $0.08 cents per page. This cost will help defray the expense of toner, printers, printer maintenance, paper and supplies. Students are responsible for their printing account and should monitor use and report any discrepancies to the Library Computer Lab staff.
Account Balance
Each time you login, a window will pop up with your current printing account balance. If this balance does not appear or appears as $0.00 contact the Library Computer Lab Help Desk to have you account corrected.
It is your responsibility to add money to your account before you run out. If your account balance goes to $0.00 you will not be able to print until you add money to your account. If there is insufficient balance to print your entire print job, none of it will be printed.
Be careful to select the appropriate printer and to use the print preview function to determine the number of pages in your print job.
Adding Money To Your Account
Bring a personal check to the Library Computer Lab Help Desk, payable to "Loyola Law School." Present your personal check to Library Computer Lab staff between the following times: From 9 A.M. to 8 P.M., Monday through Thursday, 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. on Friday and Saturday, and 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Sunday. Please allow up to four continuous staff hours for additions to your printing account to take effect. Regarding the times listed above, do not wait until the last hour to submit your request as staff may not be able to accommodate you until well into the next day.
Canceling Print Jobs
When using the Library Computer Lab computers you may cancel your sent print job from the computer desktop. To do so, double click onto the Library Computer Lab printer icon of the printer to which you sent your print job (either Library Computer Lab1, Library Computer Lab2 or Library Computer Lab3), select your print job, and press the delete button on the keyboard.

NOTE: NOTE: Cancelling the print job at the printer will not cancel the charge from your account.
Laptop Users
